aquicksoft is a 90-person engineering team based in India, delivering production software across 13 specialisations — from embedded firmware to enterprise AI. We started in 2020 with four engineers and one shared conviction: that fast and correct are not opposites if the foundations are built properly.
The story
Why we exist.
We started in 2020 because we kept seeing the same pattern: a small team builds something that works, the product grows, and the shortcuts taken early become the ceiling for everything that comes after. Migrations that could have been two weeks take six months. Features that should be days turn into weeks. The business pays for speed, but the architecture charges interest.
The founding team — four engineers in India with experience across fintech, logistics, and enterprise software — decided the better model was to charge fairly for doing things properly from the start. Typed contracts. Test coverage. Observable systems. Documentation that explains the why, not just the what. Five years and 86 engineers later, that is still the only delivery standard we operate to.

Where we have been, where we are going.
2020
Four engineers, one shared conviction
aquicksoft started in India with four engineers who had spent years watching good products ship on shaky foundations. The founding idea was simple: charge for quality engineering, not just headcount, and build a team where senior engineers still write code.
2021
First enterprise clients, first distributed practices
Early clients came from fintech and logistics, attracted by our backend and cloud work. We formalised our asynchronous communication practices, code review standards, and deployment discipline — the processes that let a distributed team move like a co-located one.
2022
Expanding into mobile, IoT, and identity
Clients building connected products and regulated applications needed more than backend APIs. We grew the mobile, IoT, and IAM practices, hiring engineers with production experience in each domain rather than retraining backend engineers.
2023
AI/ML and data engineering as production disciplines
When clients started asking for AI features, we built an ML engineering practice grounded in evaluation design and MLOps — not prompt engineering. The data engineering practice followed, because you cannot build a reliable AI system on an unreliable data pipeline.
2024
Embedded, security, and blockchain complete the portfolio
IoT clients needed firmware engineers. Cloud clients needed penetration testers. Fintech clients needed smart contract audits. We added embedded firmware, cybersecurity, and blockchain practices — each staffed by engineers with domain track records.
2025 — Today
90+ engineers, 13 service areas, one delivery standard
The team has grown to more than 90 engineers across every service area we offer. The delivery standard has not changed: typed contracts, test coverage, observable systems, and documentation that the next team member can act on. What has changed is the depth and breadth of problems we can take on.

Our India base also means meaningful timezone overlap with clients in Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, with structured async practices that keep North American and Australian clients unblocked across the time difference. One team, one process, wherever you are.
